What is the State Tree of your State?

The state tree of GA, (where I live) is the Southern Live Oak. The Live Oak’s leaves are thick, leathery, dark green, smooth and shiny. The Live Oak tree is a fast growing tree. It normally grows in low sandy soils near the coast but you can find it other places too! It is also known as the Quercus Virginiana.

  1. Great! I only suggest that you spell out ‘Georgia,’ rather than using the abbreviation ‘GA.’ Blessings to you, Miss Naomi.
