Louis Pasteur was born on December 27, 1822 to a poor catholic family. He was famous for inventing the process that bears his name, pasteurization. Many people ask the question “what is pasteurization?” Well Pasteurization is the partial sterilization of a product, such as milk or wine, to make it safe for consumption and improve its keeping quality.
Louis pasteur was a french biologist, microbiologist, and pasteurization. He is known for his outstanding break in the causes and prevention of diseases and his discoveries have saved many lives ever since. He reduced mortality from puerperal fever and created the first vaccines for rabies and anthrax.
Pasteur married Louise in 1849. I find that funny that Louis married Louise. They had five children together but only three survived until adulthood.
Louis pasteur was the director of the Pasteur institute until he died on September 28, 1895
